Welcome! My name is Nelly Matova, some students call me Dr. Nelly, or Dr. M. I started playping piano and singing when I was seven years old and I haven’t stopped learning music since then.
After years of daily practice, lessons, performances, and education (I hold a Master of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts), I have lots of knowledge to share with you.
I teach piano in-person and online lessons — beginners to advanced level for all ages. In addition, I teach music theory/aural skills, score reading, sight-reading, composition and fundamentals of conducting.
I am proud of my students: children, teenagers, college students and adults with various professions and busy life. They all are eager to learn.
Welcome new students! I will guide you, lead you and inspire you to strongly develop your music passion. I will teach you how to play the piano and understand music, and also how to enjoy learning and playing music independently.
Most importantly, I will inspire you to become a music lover and music advocate for life.
